KwangYoung is manufacturing more precise, more accurate molds through upgraded
3D design based on 3D CAD/CAM program. Advanced programs such as MDT, PD, CADDS5,
CATIA, WORK NC, CIMATRON, UNI GRAPHICS, MODVIEW and SPEED PLUS are operated by
key CAD/CAM personnel for 3D design. The final shape of a product is closely
checked from all
directions through 3D m o d e l i n g simulation. Possible problems with work
processes are controlled beforehand by our design team's excellent design capacity
and simulation. In addition, quality is maintained consistently to the end since
the shape of a product is checked frequently by workers responsible for each
process. Our design team is ready to design any complex products you want.
CAD/CAM data is sent to a next computer-based precise processing step, i.e. NC
processing. Then, 2D processing steps such as milling, lathing, spark machining,
polishing, radial drilling, and finishing, are carried out, and followed by a
combining processes. This step checks molds for any gap or inconsistency to ensure
that a product is made exactly. After being checked and assembled, molds are
sent to an injection molding process for production of a prototype. Once the
prototype is found good, the mold production is completed.
All process errors are prevented beforehand by our quality control system, equipped
with various precise measuring devices, including 3D measuring instrument.
